I found myself asking that question. Even when I felt like crap the most, would I still produce video content and be of my word. I looked no further than the one and only Michael Jordan.

In the 1997 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan scored 38 points in Game 5 with flu like symptoms. This was not Game 7 and a must win game where he HAD to play. The series was tied 2-2 and if he took this game off to recover he still would have had opportunity to come back for Game 6 and possibly Game 7 if needed. But he decided it was important to show up because greatness isn’t easy but showing up is REQUIRED.
I was away from the gym for almost a week at this point and I had ZERO desire to get out of bed let alone do a video. But one thing pushed me and that was remembering to d0 what I said I was going to do no matter what. I said I am doing a video every week so that is what I have to do. Not only that but it builds character to perform at elite levels but it challenges the mind to do things that you don’t want to do.
The next time you think it’s okay to take time off because you are a little uncomfortable just remember Michael Jeffrey Jordan and why he is considered The Greatest of all Time. He never made any excuses and you shouldn’t either.
